TAPE-IN EXTENSIONS
Tape-In hair extensions are thin tape wefts, 1 inch wide pre-taped hair wefts, that get “taped-in” in between your own hair in and bond. They can be strategically placed around the entire head to help fill in where hair is needed! This method is ideal for any length or density.

extension care
After Application: Wait 48-72 hours before washing or chemically processing your hair.
Every Day: 2-3 times per day gently brush hair from ends to roots using a wet brush or soft bristle brush. Use an oil such as the Unite U-Oil everyday after brushing. I suggest using a pea-sized amount to run through the mids and ends.
Washing and Styling: Always brush hair prior to washing & after washing to detangle! I suggest using a wet brush or the framer detangling brushes as these have the softest bristles to avoid pulling on the hair.
Products: Use professional grade product. Drug store product can cause buildup, tear, and overall damage to extension hair. For tape-in’s void styling products that contain oil, alcohol, or ethanol, especially near the tapes.
Sleeping: Never go to sleep with wet or loose hair. Before bed, brush hair to detangle and gently tie into a loose ponytail or braid.
Swimming and Vacation Tips:
Rinse hair immediately after swimming or exercising.
Spray tans, sunscreens, hard/well water, and bronzing products may contain minerals that can cause discoloration. Using a leave in conditioner (or a spray bottle mixed with water and a little conditioner) can help as a protective barrier on the hair when swimming, laying out, or around products containing minerals.
If discoloration occurs (usually reds or oranges), ask us about our Malibu Treatments.
